More Codes

    Dropped my truck off at the dealer while I was gone so they could fix the shuddering which I thought was the torque converter. The $120 diagnostics they ran showed codes P0300 and P0308 and said that was the cause of the shaking and no power.
    They want $350 to replace one sparkplug and COP and $850 for a full tune up.
    The tuneup would be replacing all the plugs, the bad COP (#8) , and the PCV valve. :whymewhyme:

    I'm going to do the COP and PCV valve myself, then have them do the plugs for $400 later this summer.

    Can anyone find me a part number for the PCV Valve thing for my 5.4 3v?

    there is no pcv valve for the 04 5.4L

    Fugg me... Napa and carquest were both out of Chilton manuals.

    I'll try to get a part number and go from there.
