That's a simpler one, but I'd recommend Pioneer. I've had a Sony for years and it's been great, but I honestly prefer Pioneer. Go to Crutchfield and type in your vehicle info and see what they have. Their prices are fair too. Crutchfield includes the installation kit and everything needed when you order from them.

I get the feeling we are talking about an in-dash
6 disk versus a remote 6 disk changer?

Um yeah. When it comes to fixing stuff in my suv I do not. This will have to wait until after my cruise. :(

I don't even know where to find these fuses on my suv.

Oh come on Jen, I don't know much about explorers but the fuse box will either be on the drivers side under the dash or the passenger side(on my truck) pull the cover off and there will be a bunch of colorful fusey clippy things called fuses. Get you some needle nose pliars or the fusey clippy thing special tool taker offer. Pull it out and see if the metal bar inside the fusey clippy is intact and not burnt in two.

Tried to put it in a way you could understand :jester:

I'm pretty sure it is on my drivers side but they only reason why I don't want to do it. Is because I'm afraid I will disconnect something else.

I'll try later but thanks for the help on telling me where to look.
