    buy a new one. $200 better than getting one and you don't know how it's been abused. anyways i dremeled out the hole an got the adapter to fit, i haz external mic now :peace:

    Nice. How much better is the hero 3 than the hero 2? I have hero 2 but idk if I use it enough to make the upgrade...

    yeah i got the hero 3 white edition. only 200 but i probably spent an extra hundred in mounts and accessories haha. supposably the hero 3 has better video quality

    Depends which edition of te hero3, from what I've read the hero3 silver is comparable to a hero2, the hero3 white is junk, an the black is the besy of the three

    The plus of the hero3 silver over hero2 is the smaller size and built in wifi

    I wanted a hero 3, but i dont use my Hero 2 enough to justify it.

    I've thought about getting another one so Id have two angles but I don't have enough time to edit the video

    i wouldn't say white edition is junk lol... mine does everything i need it to for 200 bucks :shrug: bought a wifi remote, plenty of video capacity, can't complain about video quality either, not as good as silver or black but i don't need a $400 camera to record truck videos :jester:.
