yeah Ive got the write up saved somewhere for when I get ready to do this. I just need to figure out where to put my hellas because I dont think Id have enough room for em and the new cooler behind my grill....maybe some thin LEDs :hmm:

Yeah I want to do it too. You might look on f150 forum for a pic if this one guys truck. He installed two 12" LED bars behind is grill and they line up perfectly with thr ford logo on the honeycomb grill really clean install actually.

Why do you want an external filter? The stock filter should do just fine and I would think an external filter will slow flow a little

ehhh sounds like a good idea but im looking it up and reading some info on them. I could see it possibly slowing flow a little for sure. ill see what info I can find on them.

if I decide to do one ill just snip the line and throw one in place. cooler should be in this weekend.

B&M cooler is in. debating whether or not I want to do a write up. I don't really have that many pictures and there really isn't much to installing it.

ill see if I can come up with something.

pic of it installed. haven't done much driving since I installed it. spent a little bit of time in traffic the other day, took a little longer for the trans fluid to heat up. temp sat under 180 degrees.

ill probably paint the brackets, them things will be rust colored in a few months.

I dont do much stop n go..but I do tow, and when I tow its heavy. I do notice temps go up a little bit after a while.

ford logo was deleted on my truck, just have a straight all honeycomb grill I custom made :D if I do decide to do this I would have to remove my hellas behind my grill, they dont leave too much room behind my grill...and would block airflow making it pointless :/
