Crazy! 7.5L putting out 575/575 at a price of $10,000 is actually quite attractive. But it better come with 4 bolt mains, forged crank, rods and pistons. I wonder if it would bolt up to our trucks? If it is based on the 351W then it must have a different bolt pattern to the transmission than the Modular motors. A new engine that puts out that kind of power at $10,000 is a good price considering a Whipple supercharger kit without tuning is already $5,500 and that'll only bring about 450/500. I wonder if this crate motor can adapt to fuel injection and whether it can be shoehorned into an F-150.

It's been available a few weeks..

I keep posting this wherever I see it.. It needs much bigger heads, and it'll make 650+..

I don't know if it needs better flowing heads, I mean 575/575 is a lot, I'm pushing a stock 300/365, probably less than that now that my truck's at 200,000km, so I'd be happy with an extra 20lb-ft of torque let alone a differential blowing 575.

That would def wake up our old 1974 F100.

Perfection an awesome engine to plant into a Factory Five /
CSC Racing or similar repli-car kit body.

Factory Five makes awesome kits, I would love to have the time and expertise to build one of their kits some day. And then drop a Ford monster motor in it. :)
