Highly doubt it. Hoping to have it in my truck late winter early spring time. My 2v 5.4 (260hp stock)... longtubes, full exhaust, custom tune, gotts mod, 4.56 gears and all that other stuff I'm sure it was around 275-280 hp My new 4v 5.4 (300hp stock)... longtubes (hopefully), higher compression, cams, intake, probably be around 350hp. Those are just approximate, could be more could be less I haven't decided which cams I'm getting yet and what CR ill have.
Pistons are out. Main bearings and caps are off basically everything except the crank. I've still got the flexplate on the crank though just becauae I needed it on the stand asap. Any help as to how to get it off? I got all the bolts out but I'm not sure how it comes out.. is it just pressed on or what?
Not sure if its forged or not, and thanks danny I knew you'd chime in with the answer lol gotta save up a littlw bit more so I can order pistons and then find out how much assembling with machine work is gonna cost me. Hopefully by mid november ill have the bottom end back together.
Anyone know the difference between these two? Silver one is heavier and has 6 threaded holes on perimeter where as the older looking one has 4 non threaded holes around perimeter.
Ahh I think you're right. I bought the original 2v from a guy who was gonna put it in his mustang so I bet that's why he gave it to me with everything else. Thanks! I have the original one with the 4v so ill prob just use that one when I put the 4v in and have an extra lol
