Not only that but e brake in snow, take a 1/2" PVC pipe 2" long, slit down the side, pull e brake release and then slide pipe over cable holding the release open. Then you have a drift truck in the snow haha, used to do that all the time
pulled the access plug in the rear and pulled these two pieces out, the E brake shoes and springs are all loose in there. still trying to get the rotor off hammers.. and bigger hammers..
Haha my ebrake cable came off somehow so I went to fix it and and ended up taking out all the shoes and such just because they were being difficult and were super worn. Never got around to replacing them lol
Nope. Nothing inside my rear brakes for the ebrake. All the drums and springs were all rotted and not working so I just took em out. My driveway is steep and I never use my ebrake and i never have problems.
I had the pin that holds the brake pedal assembly altogether break on me right after I finished swapping everything over on the fox... Thank god for the little bit of E brake I had and a 5 speed or I woulda been ******.. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 2!
yeah i like to use my E brake when i park on an incline. got the rotor off and the E brake ripped out, everything was scraped to hell from bouncing around. rotors are pretty worn and pads have about 1/4 life left. adding a brake job to the list of shat to replace and a purdy picture of the truck on jackstand lol...
