Damn dude that was quick. Yeah looks like ill have to replace the whole lens. I guess they used to use this style light way back in the 80s mostly and now they've updated and switched tobusing bulbs Inside the lenses.
Playing with some LED strips. Got the passenger side done. Not sure what I think about it, kinda looks purple and I feel a little ricey.
haha what can I say? You might want to use that model number and see if you can find some cheaper. I've never seen any that made you replace the whole lense like that.
Yeah they are pretty old fashion. The guy that gave me these has another set he might give me because this one burned out so quick. Still waiting to hear back from him.
Read it again nn... They originally were the sealed beam like you have. You order the replacement lens from KC and that will take the H3 bulbs. I burned out both of mine and it was the only way to keep using them.
Ohh lol I just skimmed the pictures to see if they were the same as mine. My biddy has an extra lense. I'm gonna swing by his place tomorrow and snag whatever he's got for me.
Well I got the other lense from my friend and I threw him $20 for his other pair of KCs that have a bulb. Maybe turn them into HIDs if I ever go that route. Probably wont have time to wire it up until wednesday.
