The local lot is full of 15's, even in person they're still not moving mountains for me. Are they nice trucks? Sure, they're as nice as they've ever been, but my problem with them is they look like the Ford, Toyota and Chevrolet all had an orgy and this is the bastard child of a very embarrassing night all of them wish they could forget. To each their own, but for $40,000 plus I got to love the looks and I mean love every single inch of that truck. Sadly, that's just not the case with the 15's for me. Something about their proportions feel off to me also. Like the bedsides were lowered and there is too much cab showing. The rounded corners on everything (like mirrrors) bugs me also. I think my next truck would be a 06-07 F350....
I do agree with almost everything you said. I like the looks of them, but they are definitely are just a mashup of whatever Ford managed to dig out of their competitors leftover parts bin.
