Well y'all I need you to try out your brains for a few minutes, my new truck is havin some problems that I'm gonna blame on the cold and snow for now. I cam too drive home from dads tonight and it seemed to be havin some power issues so I drove an extra couple miles around and the service engine light came on. So I went back to dads and stuck the code reader on it and got P0302, 0308, and 0316.

So I know what they are
    0302 misfire cylinder 2
    0308 misfire cylinder 8
and 0316 is misfire in first 1000 rpms (I think now I can't rmember for sure)

So do any of y'all have any insights into this little issue?

    EDIT: 02 F150 4x4 4.6 161000kms

If you dont know when the last time the plugs, boots and springs were changed, then it would be a good time to do this. Also, swap the problem coil to another cylinder to see if the problem moves. If it does, then its the coil. If not, then suspect plug.

I haad planned on doin this when it warmed up b/c I don't know when or if any of that has been changed but it looks like it might be sooner, I might run over to dads and try what you said bout movin the coils.

    Thanks Y'all

Well turned out I was right blamin the weather :jester: I took the coils off of cylinders 2 and 8 and they were all wet and full of moisture, dried them off and switched them to diff cylinders like thomas suggested and boom shes runnin beauty again. I'm assuming that the north wind I was facin into the other night filled my engine bay with snow and then when it melted some of it leaked down. I might order plugs and coils when I have some cash just so there around when it gets nice but for now its all good. :happy107:
