Depends, I've had steering wheels pop right off before, and then I'd had some that needed a puller. Ahh, I miss the days where you could hit Pep Boys and buy your ride a new Grant Steering wheel and the adapter kit. Fuggin airbags...

idk been like this since i got my truck.. just got another idea tho.. park the truck with the wheel dead straight up and down (tires will be turned a little to the left) then unhook the steering extension jack up the front of the truck turn the tires by hand until they are straight then rehookup the steering extension. its making sense in my head right now so will have to try it tomorrow when im off

i barley had a right hand turning radius at all before i did my 5''rcx and had it aligned.. i couldnt park to the right side unless i did a 3 point turn into the spot basically. guy i got it from said theyre are some teeth bent in the sterring box but i dont no for sure like i said its been like this since i got it. i have a full turning radius again tho just wheel is upside down.

That sounds like it might work as long as the shaft turns all the way around once with the ext disconnected but wouldn't it be the same as turinin the wheel around 1/2 turn or 1.5 turns to get it straight and ya got that keyway? Maybe its a matter of knocking the pitman arm off and moving it around 5 or whatever splines
