thats because you're a auburn fan! :jester:

spools wouldnt be good for around town driving. they lock the axle and when you corner you will be putting a lot of stress on the axles because the inner tire will be turning the same speed as the outer tire when turning.

a limited slip would be best, but they cost alot more.

I'll let that first part slide lol, and really? I was wondering that cuz we have an old International scout with that kinda rear end and its just like you say, its a female dog to turn. I'm almost scared to ask, but how much does a limited slip run?

if its a dedicated off road rig, or very limited on road driving then a spool will be fine. but a limited slip like a detroit tru trac cost about 500. but im sure you can find a ford axle with a LS diff for cheap and swap it in.

you should have 31 spline axle. the 28's are for 95 and older i believe.

Well, my poor little 2wd i don't think will ever make it to a full time off road type rig. And i still drive it enough on the road to be a problem. Dang, guess i'm finding me a different rear end haha. Cuz a new one would be nice, but a used one shouldn't run to much. I got the shop and lift to do it all once i get one
