Tell me about a locking rear end

    well i would keep a eye out for a new axle if thats what you want to do. there is a tag on them that tells you what the gear ratio is and if it is LS or not. also, the 9.75 is a D shape pumpkin.

    U got ****kkked. I had to put a new 8.8 in mine the first week I had my truck .. guy delivered the axle to me for 150 bucks

    Came with everything on it still too, shocks springs u bolts tires lug nuts even the ebrake cable. I think they robbed someones shit n brought it to me

    u said yours come with springs shocks etc ..... i was sayin mine was the rearend with only brake cables on it

    weld your spider gears together, my buddy did that in his early 80s ford and its been holding up for 2 years now

    just gotta be carful on how you do it though

    The reason it was so cheap was it was that weak ass 8.8!
    I'm with everyone that says look for a wrecked truck with the 9.75. Though if you just want to keep your wheels locked up, a regular LSD or posi would work fine.
