Ok, so i've always heard negative stuff on the Fords 6.0 diesel motor. And now a buddy of mine or..liljoe on here(same guy) has had his blow for i believe the third time. First time he just had it fixed, second time he put in studs that're supposed to prevent the problem. Now its went again. Is this happening to everyone, or just him?

What makes them so bad though? Like...whats the difference about them than the other 'stroke engines? That makes them blow so often....?

Aight. Cuz i'd heard that stock, they're fine, but if you do anything performance wise, is where you run into trouble. And well...I believe his would be considered highly modded haha. Banks tuner, CAI, Straight pipes, some kinda EGR something, and other stuff i never understood lol

one of my buddys in wayne county has a f250 ext cab with a 6.0 , and 33s, and he has about 15 grand in upgrades under the hood, banks radiator, intake, exaust, upgraded turbos, injectors, the whole 9 yards, and i have seen this myself, he beat a new z06 in a 8th, with ease!

but in 2wd , he can break them loose from 30 rollin, its retarted, with proper mods, any deisel is badass

ill have to get yall some footage of that truck

the motors a perfectly fine motor international runs them in a lot of machinery without problem, the problem with them is the fords oil cooler and the egr. If one of them fails it completely ****s the entire engine up.
