Wonder if anyone could help me out with finding a wiring diagram for a Python 871XP remote start system with alarm. The girlfriends VUE has one in it and the GM dealer she bought it from just decided to tell her it wasn't working instead of hooking it back up. I need to know what all the ports on the side of the main power module are for. the system is hooked up but im not sure its functioning correctly plus i need to buy a remote for it. The shock sensor blinks anytime you hit the car so that tells me there is power to it an possibly the horn. If the system is working is the small valet light supposed to blink also or only if valet mode is active? if not then maybe it is working properly and all i need to do is buy the key FOB. Cant really check to see if anything is working right since my dad has the damn voltmeter at work. thanks for any help and/or input guys.
also do i have to get the exact remote for that starter system or are they universal? not really wanting to spend $60 on a remote.
Thanks man. too bad my P.O.S. computer wont load the damn file. i loaded that PDF on my phone and read about the valet switch and everything. turns out the system works fine all i need to get is a key FOB.
