-50 offset is almost 2" (1.96") off the center of the wheel... that's hell on the wheelbearings, balljoints, etc.... that's 12" wheel with 4" of backspacing! Damn!!
theyre 17x12 with 4.5 backspacing and -50 offset. peeled the sticker off the wheel when i took it out of the box and put it in my glovebox.
How can that be? I'm not doubting you on what the sticker says but 50mm is 1.96" which equals 4.04" of backspacing on a 12" wheel... unless the wheel actually measures 11" and some change
yessir i agree, not big on chrome myself but they look good on the truck and dont see my wheels on any other trucks so you west!
the wheel actually measures 13 wide, from bead to bead (where you measure for TRUE wheel width) is 12'' .. 13/2 is 6.5. 6.5 - 2(offset) = 4.5 (backspacing.) you use OVERALL width of wheel to find offset/backspacing not the bead to bead "wheel width"
im sure those are the stampede fenderflares made for the screws.. and here is how my tires are now with the 12.5 Top View flush against my flares Rear Tire Front Tire
