ive tried looking through other posts on here but im not good at tire measurments....can 315/70/17s be run on a 4wd with no leveling kit? they measure just over 34in in diameter...about 4 in larger in diameter then the stock 275/75/18s....leveling kit is causing me some heartaches here latley and im bout to take it off...
Nope, will not fit up front.Whats up with your leveling kit? What brand did you go with?I went with HBS and i love it.No problems at all.
i have a hbs 2.5 and ive mentioned things before about the issues....ride quality its TERRIBLE compared to what everyone else says....cant get an alignment to take no matter who i go to....local shop which i trust very must is blaming it on the leveling kit....experiencing lots of bump steer as well....ive just been living with it bc i love the way it looks but im really getting tired of it...ive had the front susp compenents inspected and there are no issues...just gettin tired of my truck feeling unsafe when i drive it...
I've never heard of a leveling kit causing that many problems. Not sure what brand you used, but maybe a higher quality leveling kit could correct some of those problems. I wouldn't think an alignment would be a problem even on a 2.5" leveling kit.
i hate you feel that way but its your truck and you gotta drive it. so take it off, CL your tires and get some nice 33s
The level kit has NOTHING to do with ride quality. Alignment by a good shop should be NO PROBLEM. Your bump steer your talking about is prolly coming from your bigger tires. Truck is not unsafe. Its not a Crown Vic squad car....its a truck
I bought my father-in-law a 2.4" HBS leveling kit for $70 for xmas and he's had it aligned and hasnt had any problems. Something else must be wrong with your truck.
