How do you hook onto a vehicle with no hook points? My immediate vehicle in question is a mid 2000's nissan maxima. recovery points in the front none in the rear. I cant pull from the front. What is safe to grab onto???

    Um :hmm: thanks I think.

I have an idea just not sure it will work. I have a 20' strap with hooks and I'm buying a real recovery strap without hooks on the way home from work. Going to connect both hooks to the recovery holes at the front of the car and run the strap loop to the rear (making a triangle under the car) - connect the recovery strap to the loop and pull that way. Fingers crossed!

usually if there are no tow hooks, They have a hook on the under side, or at least my neon did. Other than that look for a hole to feed it though the frame or is one of those stupid unibody's?

Def pull from the frame if you can. Especially with something like a Maxima, you'll pull a bunch of parts out from underneath that thing if your not careful. If you do take pics, so we can publicly ridicule you, :ROFLJest:

or you could go about it the right way and buy recovery hooks that go in side the frames

Thanks Guys, The car is question is my neighbors across the street (college kid) anyways I told him I would yank it out when I got home from work this morning. When I got home the car was in the street with a parking ticket on the window :jester: he must have spent half the night digging it out. haha

And if I do fubar somebodys car this winter I will definatly post pics! carnage is cool! :hmm: reminds me I need to draw up some waivers to keep in the truck!

Oh Yeah, it IS one of those unibody POS's the have NO tie downs in the back. I even looked in the owners manual on line.
