My 3rd brake light comes on also. And did you know, if your autolamps are on when you lock your truck, your turn signals and fogs flash? So if you have HID fogs, don't leave the autolamps on!
I never really noticed my 3rd brake light coming on. And good point about the autolamps. I never used that setting.
Just an FYI, I can't get this method to work on my 02 and still haven"t found anything else about it.

Got mine to turn off finally. It was completely by accident but I was disabling my DRL's because they flash the HIDs a bunch too when starting, when I did this my perimeter lights no longer come on. It also doesn't honk anymore.
