Ok guys so i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one. Please help me figure this out... I have a 2002 F-150 XLT Screw with 4" Susp, 3" Body and Torsion crank and I had to trim about 2 1/2" off the front valence and 1" off the rear part of the front fender flare to fit my 37's. Dustin has a 1999 F-150 XL Rcab with 3" Body and a Torsion crank yet he said he barely had to trim at all to get his 37's to fit. Is this because of the body styles, years, or what? I'm starting to think that a suspension lift doesnt give anymore tire clearance at all. Could it be that my wheel spacers made it a tighter fit (doubt it)?
Think some how those trucks like dustins are set up diff I had one just like his and had 900/16 power kings on it which is almost a 36 with no lift tbar wher cranked al ittle bit
I was saying the same thing b4 I. Got my suspension lift that there was no way I would clear a 37 with just the body lift but then again I never tried
In all seriousness I had a 99 Scab with a 3" BL and a Tbar crank with 37" Toyos...I had to do the same amount of trimming as you did. But you wheel offset (spacers) have alot to do with the rubbing.
