Yeah, last time I had a trailer hooked up was a year ago, so I don't think that was it. I'm looking at Dirty Dog Performance for a built 4R75 if the 6R80 won't work.
Looks like I'm going with a built 4R75. Mike from 5 Star Tuning said that our trucks PCM can't handle the newer trannys. Greg - Depending on how built you get them they start around $1800 and go to $4000, with a core.
I got a trans for and ranger off this site....it located it only a hour from my house. Got it for $250 and it worked perfect. I know yours will be more but it's worth a shot.... http://www.car-part.com/
haha, thanks. I just found the same ones. http://www.car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi I wonder how hard it would be to install a tranny myself? I know the old ones were easy, but not sure about these new ones. 2007 Transmission Ford Truck F150 A.T., 8-330 (5.4L), (4R75E), 4X4,5.4L,AUTO TRANS 38,000 A T652 $895.05 Northwest Auto Parts - PRP West, ARAPro USA-AK(Anchorage) Request_Quote 1-907-333-6531 Request_Insurance_Quote 71 2008 Transmission Lincoln Mark LT 31K,4R75E,AT,4X4,STOCK NO. 10E5023 31,293 10E5023 $800 Interior Auto Salvage USA-AK(Fairbanks) E-mail 1-866-837-2787 323
