Just my .02 cents worth, having a good friend who did the famed F-150 to 250 upgrade. All he's had is trouble, granted his is a 6.0, the 7.3 is a world better. But everything on a diesel cost double to fix, tires wear out twice as fast, diesel is out the ass expensive, I know, i drive a '01 cummins as my DD. But i mean, none of us(i assume) know your money situation. Nor is it my business but if the upkeep of one of these rigs isn't gonna hurt the bank, than by all means, get it man, i know i want one. But after watching a friend with one who makes a good bit more than me struggle to keep her drivable...i'd say just be careful. Diesels are a money pit all the way around. There's SO much more you can do to em, therefore SO much more to break.
