true...you kinda beat me to th punch on the skyhigh trucks being as useless as a bagged truck...what I meant by lowered trucks can still do work is a trucklike yours or thomas...yall can still pull a trailer if need be and can still throw stuff in the bed and generally use it as a truck still...

Well said my brotha.....I've had both. I've had bagged trucks I've had big lifted trucks. They both have there draw backs. But I've out grown that extreme stuff now and love and nice truck with a level kit or and nice truck with a mild static drop.

id just buy 2 at a time. 2 new fronts, old fronts to the opposite inside, insides to opposite outside, and lose the 2 outsides

That pretty much explains it for me too dude. I always get people telling me to bag my truck or drop it a few more inches and I'm like nah, that's not what I was after when I started on my truck. I was after a sporty street style truck and that was it. Never intended it to drag frame or anything. I have 2 kids I have to drive around in it from time to time. Same thing if I pick up a 4X4. I'll level it or may a lift it a couple of inches at the most and that's all for me. It comes with age I guess, but I just don't care for dealing with all that anymore. I like to see it, but just not on my truck or car. :jester:

Well, if you have a flat, you have a flat and are pretty much done. That's the one advantage to the 2 narrow tires vs. a single wide tire. Back when I was working at Schneider they were talking about them then and that was back in the mid 90's. I was mildly surprised when I finally started seeing them on trucks.

I dont think its an age thing because I'm only 19 but I'm with yall on this...I like my truck where I can still use it when I need to...it may just be me though...I would love a swb just like mine with a nice set of wheels and a lowering kit (the only one I have found is a 3/5 drop)

yea...thats his biggest argument against them...and another guy with th standard dual rear tires and him (with the super singles) measured up the amount of tire actually in conact with the road and they were the same

Banger your a rare case....most kids what it as high or as low as they can go. I know I used to be there. Nothing at all wrong with that but you get tired of fighting extremes after while :Grenade:
