OK was just checking out the RCL 6'' lift for my truck.I have been eying this kit as of the last 3 months. For some reason tho when i read about it before i didn't see where it says in there"requires some welding"But just now noticed it.Hmmm.

Anyways my question is what would need to be welded with that kit?I know about the cutting and drilling. But can't think of what type of welding it would need.Any idea's?

Also i think i am going to order it from Rocky Mountain Suspension. It has a "Lets make a deal" call now for pricing not on-line.So I'm gonna try for 1,100 and see what they say when i get ready to order.

Also the 6'' Zone lift is looking good to.

this may not be helpful to you, but i had a 2" zone on my truck for a while, it was good quality, but pretty much every small susp lift is about the same.

Yep for the 04-08's brother. Here's what it says as i took it right from the page.

Installation requires minor cutting & welding.

I knew you had the Rough Country.Still trying to figure out then why it says some welding is involved.Any idea's?The cutting i also know about.I did read the pdf on how to install and i didn't remember seeing anything about cutting.Only snag i would run into would be my stock wheels and thats what i am getting spacers to make that work.

Overall did the install go OK?Any snags anywhere along the lines i should know?Or you can think of?I will be going doing it in a shop with lift.Well there will be 3 of us doing it actually. Were hoping to get it done in a day.

When i put my 6" RCX on my 04 f150 screw , there was no welding to be done ..... just gotta notch a crossmember out so the front diff can be relocated ...... install goes so smooth , its all common sense stuff.

Good Luck and cant wait to see it on!
