Vano, the problem I ran into was trying to remove the mirror from the baseplate. Now granted I didnt spend a whole lot of time looking at it cause I was in the junkyard and had about 10 min before I got locked in but I didnt see really where it came apart. I mean, a hacksaw and some fine skills may have to come into play.
hahahahaha, ya'll crack me up, dont get all upset, i'm just messing with ya'll. i really do hope that you can find a solution to the tow mirrow saga for screws. i am willing to help in any way i can, just fun picking on ya till then. fellas, let's get this thing worked out cause this forum is capable of figuring it out. we got some smart doods on here
Ok well this is what I came up with.. from what i've seen the SD mounting plates have the same height as ours do. If I can get it to mount up that way I will then cut off what I need from a screw mounting plate to make it look like the stock plate. Fiberglass the two together and paint them
theres a dood on f150forum or f150online with a lifted black rab that done done all this crap and is rockin some sd mirrors on his 97-03 rab ..... yall need be hittin him up
