Cab Lights..

    If you are referring to the 04-11 mirrors and how they come off its simple. the "skull" that is sometimes chrome or painted from the factory, is removable for service. its snaps on and off, but i am not sure exactly where the snaps are. I had actually thought about tearing mine up to see about putting a motor/actuator setup so I could have power fold but I don't wanna hack into my perfectly fine set.


    This was actually the idea i had in mind when I asked. You could get a thin metal plate. Next, cut it to the shape of your base plate. Next, trim the 04-08 to your base plate size. Spot weld your bolts to the proper location on the plate. Cut the bolts off the 04-08 and then spot weld the plate to the bolt stubs. some fiberglass, smooth out the mirrors, and walla.

    yes if i can find something that well bolt up fairly well then i start working on making it look nice from there

    I'm not good nor have access to welding so im SOL on that idea..i'll have to find somethin

    i can weld, and have access. send me the components and i'll get er done. that base plate you found for $40 was perfect.

    Vano, do you know the dimensions on what it would take to build a roof rack for a scab, with mounts for lights in the front of it?

    No clue brother. Not even sure how to mount it to the roof.

    Well, i just called all the junkyards within 25 miles of me and no one has a 2000+ f250 or expeditions. And 1 has a Screw but the front clip is gone..

    yeah I would use it for when i go hunting just to have extra light, but I could figure out how to mount it, I just cant weld :facepalm:
