Anyone else think we'll hit $4.50+/gal of gas this summer?

    Brandon i hear ya bud...just had convo with my wife if we see consistant 4$ a gallon prices then im selling the truck and gonna get a ranger to drive...i have to have a bed so car not option for me...but i cant afford what the 150 will cost when gas spikes...sad truth...

    The ranger doesn't do that much better... the only way to get good mpg is to have a 4 banger, 5 speed, 2nd 2 wd. I've got an excel sheet at home I'll post, gives the cost analysis of buying a new rig and how long It takes to pay it off.

    4 banger ranger will do damn better than what i have now! and i could pick one up for 7 grand vs 15000 for my truck i have now...im in position where id make money selling my truck so i dont see how i lose...unless your spreadsheet can prove otherwise

    Ok, I didn't realize you still owed that much. Probably would be cheaper to have a ranger, have You driven one though? It kinda sucks lol

    haha yea i know the rangers arent that great! i dont owe that much anymore thats what i paid for the truck about a year ago....not sure what payoff is at the moment....just know i pay 324 a month!

    ya its 3.89 here in north pole, and if the prices keep on going up thinking about parking the truck at the parents house and get the escort zx2 at seekins and it only has 51k on it and selling for 5 grand, not bad at all

    Anyone that says rangers suck are retarded.....they are great trucks and I'd still be driving one today if I didn't need the extra room for my kids. :nutkick:

    Haha I'm just saying they don't get that much better fuel mileage than a rab 150 and have a lot less power and room. I'd rather park my truck and buy a focus, but that's just me :jester:

    I'd still be driving my 90 Ranger if it wasn't wrecked. Can't wait to rebuild it. Its a 5 speed 2wd 4 banger and got like 25 mpg.
