    Try the hose clamps for now. I'd pick the hose clamps up that have the rubber made on them if you can find em.

    i skipped thru all the shat yall whores posted up... my question (just to make sure) your leafs slide left to right? easily? and so that band thingy is suppose to make them not do that?

    his leaf springs have started shifting and the band is missing and he dont know what that band is called or where to buy it

    There is a reason they are coming apart, my friend has a F250 SD, his are coming apart also.
    I know why, he has been hauling over 2,500 lbs loads of tile on that truck for many years.
    The temper (spring rate) has gone out of the metal from overloading the leaf springs.

    Not sure of your case Mike, but it may be due to excessive contortion of the springs, overloading or just plain worn out metal.
