Ha ha. That's awesome. I've lived in debolt my whole life, and just graduated University and decided to work in the Oilfield for a while. So I've only been in it for about 4 months, but yes I do. I'm in fracing. What about you?
its short for "fracturing". What we do is pump huge amounts of water, chemical, and sand into a well hole to break apart rock formations that hold gas/oil in the hole. Breaking them apart allows the oil and gas to flow better, resulting in more money for the companies we frac for.
Ya its pretty neat. I'm definitely learning a lot. Another way I like to describe it (forgot earlier) is that I'm a tight hole stimulator. I take tight dry holes and turn them into loose wet ones
