Same here where I live. There's no buses or mass transit which suits me just fine. That chit brings crime and an unwanted element to an area in my opinion. If I wanted to live near all that I'd move to downtown Atlanta and move around with the masses, but for now I'm just fine here in small town USA. :peace:

If more people got motorcycles or scooters and drive them for lets say 3-6months you will probably notice you will save a lot of money on gas. for example I usually only use my truck to go to and from work and other misc. places...sometimes ill use it to carry stuff but thats only about 5-6 times a month..

I've got a 30 mile commute one way to work.

I've often thought about buying a motorcycle but the wife and I carpool (she works in the same city) and I don't really want to be taken out by a combine or some farmer that's been drinking beer and looking at crops all day long. I don't really want to hit a deer on a bike at 60 mph, either.

^^yea, i know how to ride, but its the others who cant drive that scare me, and not everyone can afford to buy a bike, plus it would be no good for like 6 months out of the year here

X2 a bike would be cheaper on the days I could ride, but the number of rainy days kills that idea.

My wife and both use to drive 50 miles one way to work. She still drives 50 miles to work these days. That's the way it is here in Ga.
