They are a B!TCH to get off.. have fun.. there are 6 of the push pin things on each flare and then like 12 fasteners on the underside of the flare.. oy those sucked...
tabs what are the 12 fasteners? plastic? will are there any holes that are not within the fender well?
There are six retaining clips, on the underside for the rear 5 for the front. I had to replace all of them. There are rectangle ones that hold it onto the side of the body, if you push down the fender should pop out with the clips still attached to the body. I broke a couple, but autozone carries replacements. Then paint your fenders. I found it easier to pop the rectanglur clips out of the body they have two wings like wall anchors just take a small screwdriver and push them to the stem and they should pull right out. and fix them back on the fender then just pop the fender back on.
sweet guys thanks for the help...gonna see what truck looks like without the flares to determine if they go back on once removed...just waitin to ge the move over to the new house and then i can start my spring f150 projects!!! just trying to prepare beforehand!
damn that sucks! im dreading this project for some reason....thinkin about just doin to rusto and gettin a bullbar to cover up the deer rash!
