White stuff on oil cap

    Guys i changed my oil two days ago and noticed some white stuff on my oil cap, thought it might have something to do with the fact that i just seafoamed it 2 weeks prior. Just popped my cap off to double check it, the white stuff came back. Possible problem? i heard someone saying white residue could be a sign of coolant seeping in and mixing with the oil. What do you guys think?

    Nothing to be concerned with. It's from condensation from what I remember...

    Could be condensation, could be a problem. It's hard to say.

    What did your oil look like?

    bama has it right, nothing to worry about it's just condensation from your motor not fully warming up all the time. especially noticable when you make lots of short in town trips.

    i do make a lot of small trips haha. my oil looked fine when i changed it.
