That would be my main concern honestly. Not having much of a lip to them.

I like Dustin's too, Abe's wheels poke damn near perfect for the 04-08 style 150's.

That diagram actually really did help. Thank you. But the way I understood it is that rim width also has something to do with how far they stick out. And aren't factory rims 7.5" wide? So even if I had the same offset as a factory rim, with the 8.5" that I plan on going I would have a rim that sticks out 0.5" further than stock right? Adding on to that the lower offset which will add approximately another 1.5" (if I go +10) that's giving me a tire/wheel that sticks out 2" further than stock. Does that sound about right? And I'll admit, it's not as far out as that truck you posted, but I don't plan on lifting my truck so I don't want to have tires that stick out ridiculously far. I kind of want to try and stay within the limits that I won't have to put on extended fender flares (because they look terrible on only leveled trucks). Thanks again for your help by the way.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
its not another 1.5" for just +10. You don't take the difference from factory to new rim then add the offset to that already difference. You think of 1 rim at a time, each its own backspacing. So, if you have a 8.5" width rim, then you have 4.5" backspacing, w/ +10 offset, would add .4" to the rims offset. So you would barely have any sticking out, possibly 3/4" w/ that rim set up.

So, I got a hold of the store today and it turns out the Mako's are not even available anymore... ffffuuuu************:angry94::angry94::angry94::angry94::angry94: Looks like it's back to the drawing board to try to find something that I like again. I've come to the conclusion I don't really care for those other 3 I posted anymore. Other than possibly the Incubus. I'll see though.

hmmmm... I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around this. I was only using the difference between the two rims to make a comparison of the two wheels. Because the way I look at it is that with a difference of 33mm offset, that is 1.33" difference between the two. And I see that as the fact that it would stick out 1.33" further than stock (plus and extra .5" for width).. But since that seems to be the incorrect way of looking at this, I'll see if I can get something figured out here. I really appreciate everyone who has actually provided some useful information on offset. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for yet again another useless post. :waytogo:

    NOT THE END YET
