Over the past month or two I've noticed a gas smell when the truck is running. Can even smell it in the cab. Any ideas why Im smelling gas? Im not gonna say I smell it 100% of the time. I think once I get goin down the road it goes away. Only notice it when the truck is sittin like if I get out to go in a store and come back. Gas lid is tight and no gas running out on ground. Havent really tried to trace it down under the hood.
throw out a match in a couple diff places around the truck. If that dont solve it, aint nuttin to worry bout. lol jk Man I really dont know.
Alot of the time you will step in or around the gas pump and it gets on your shoes/boots then you get in the cab and get a whiff of it.
Well now that you mention it, I do smell it REALLY STRONG while im pumping gas. Really though thats not the problem here
Check that fill house going into the tank it has an extension on it from the body lift that came loose before
that is probably your problem I wish the kit had a replacement for the complete hose but just that crappy extension
yea, I wish they didn't just come w/ extentions either. They should do complete replacements, but oh well right.
