I agree ! I just recently got back into guns, since my daughters are a little older I feel a little safer with them knowing they are not toys ! I've been trying to get my oldest to go to the range....but at her age it's not cool to hang out with dad !!!
Know what you mean. My 6 year old son hasn't ever seen my guns. They just opened a Shooter's Depot indoor range here, 10 miles is alot closer than 25 to Chestnut Mountain.
There's a Gun Range about 10 miles or so away.My family is from Summerville G.A.I would like to move back down south a get 10 acres so I can shoot on my own property, paying for range time and ammo gets a little costly.I was used to paying 10 or 12 bucks a box for 9mm ammo then I just bought a Sig Sauer P 240 .40 cal ,I can't believe the jump in price but the advantage you have with your son is,he's young and will grow up around guns,so it won't be a big deal to him and you can teach him the right way while he's young.those will be great father and son times !!!
