this happened to me! it was because I backed my truck up and then the tide started to roll in, so I went to pull her out slow and every touch of the peddle made me sink further and further. I luckily stopped before I got to the same as that KR and got pulled out. The cause: Shell Rock/Sand Mix. tires just dug straight down.
