    What year is your Ford?:
    1997
    What series is your Ford?:
    F-150 XLT
    Engine size.:
    5 4 Triton V8
Back in July/August of 2024, I purchased my first Full Sized Ford Truck. It's a:

    ●1997 Ford F-150 / XLT / 4x4 SuperCab / Styleside / UA- Black Ebony / 5.4 Triton V8 engine / TR- Medium Graphite Interior / M2- 40/20/40 Cloth Seats* / Axel H9- 3.55 LS / Trans. E- Automatic E40D / Hardshell Bed cover / Plastic Drop-in Bed Liner.

I am a novice / intermediate at best when it comes to mechanics / working on cars. I've always changed my own oil/fluids, changed brake pads, replaced a couple radiators, thermostats and etc. When someone asked me if I work on cars I would always say if it involves a torque wrench then no I do not do it. However, I have been getting heavy into learning how to repair cars lately to keep myself busy (for certain personal reasons but it keeps me busy and my mind focused )

    ●Modifications made:
3- 12" Subwoofers, Replaced all Factory Door Speakers, Added tweeters to front column, Running 2 Amps (One for Subs, one for the Doors), *removed the Seats and installed Bucket seats with a large center console from an 03' Expedition. Driver's seat is Powered and Functional. Rain visors, I've changed the original 1997 Grille and Insert with a Grille from a 1999 and installed a Raptor Style Grille Insert, LED Headlight / Fog light bulbs, New Blacked out Headlights, Turnsignals / Running Lights are black and similar to the Lightning style. Smoked LED 3rd brake light, 60" 3 tier LED Strip Brake Light, LED bulb replacement in instrument cluster, LED fixtures in the door panel. Gott's air intake mod, STP Premium Air Intake Filter

    ●Future Mods / In process:
    Rocker panel fabrication / replacement
    Nerf Bars
    Turnover Gooseneck hitch
    Dying Carpet to Black
    Painting truck Flat Black
Blacking out Emblems (Possible updating of newer generation Emblems)
Replacing 4x4 sticker (with original after painting the truck)
    Leveling Kit
Wheel adapters to make tires even with edge of the exterior for more aggressive look
Muffler delete and installation of Cherry Bomb
I would love to remove the bed and make my truck a Flairside Truck! I like the more aggressive look of the Flairside vs Styleside.

Lastly, I would much rather own a Manual transmission vs Automatic. I also think trucks of today are an embarrassment for real truck owners. The gadgets and luxury they put into the newer versions to me that doesnt represent what a truck is actually for. I personally not want any Trucks made with an Infotainment system, cameras and automation / EV styles, lane assistance sensors and etc. I think and believe they should bring back the good old fashion bare bones trucks that include a real 5-speed Manual transmission not that "fake shifting" style similar to what my newer Chrysler Town and Country Mini Van has!!

    Vehicles I've owned:

●1990 Ford Ranger / Regular Cab / 4-Cylinder / 5-speed Manual Trans / Champaign Beige Exterior and Interior (First truck, belonged to my father that I learned how to drive)

●1973 VW Bettle / Orange / Manual Trans / Aftermarket exhaust (first vehicle I purchased)

●1994 Honda Civic DX / Red / 5-Speed Manual Trans / Black Interior / Rack N Pinion Steering / Ground Effects Body Kit / 3 Star Chrome 16" rims / Low Profile Tires / 2- 15" Orion Speakers / Amp and Custom Box in trunk / Purple Fluorescent Lighting Underbody Kit / Purple light bars in the interior that could stay on or they could match the music (I was in high school and I got this vehicle before the very first Fast and Furious came out haha. Good times)

    ●2000 Chevy Blazer / 2WD / 2D / Vortex V6 / Automatic / Blue / Dark Grey Interior

●2003 Dodge Ram 1500 / 5.7 Hemi / Crew Cab / Black Exterior and Interior / Stock Muffler Delete and Installed Cherry Bomb

●1997 VW Jetta / Automatic Trans / 4-Cylinder / Black Interior and Exterior / Sunroof

●2014 Chrysler Town and Country / Sliver or Light Grey / Black Leather Seats / Flex Fuel 6-Cylinder / Stow-N-Go seat package / 1 TV for second row (no TV for 3rd row) (Bought when it was 2 years old from Enterprise Car Sales, the best "dealer" and literally the only dealer I would ever purchase from ever again)
