saw from a members page you were wanting gap guards for your BL but didnt want to pay the hefty price? alot of guys use the plastic yard trim. you can get like a 10' roll at lowes, sears, homedepot, etc. just cut it up to length, and attach w/ self tapping screws.

Caution, the only thing about doing wiring jobs on other people's vehicles is SOME of them think if anything electrical goes wrong in the future they have to blame it on the person who touched their wiring. Lady blew a tail light bulb 6 months after a Best Buy installer put in a radio and she wanted the police ticket for light out paid and a new light bulb installed and paid for at BB's cost. Another lady claimed she missed a whole day's work because her van door wouldn't open with the alarm's key fob button. The battery in the remote died after 18 months and she wanted the day's pay and a new remote battery but she couldn't figure out how to open the door with the key.

Ours won't unlock with the factory remote while running. Glad I could help out, most people are afraid to work on their own vehicle for fear of messing something up and then mention electricty as in vehicle's wiring and they turn white with panic. They run specials at the mom and pop install shops here, remote starts for $100 or $125

My 250 and the wife's Tribute won't unlock with it running. IDK some are like that.
The tach wire is supposed to be for sensing the motor reving beyond a certain threshold, it will shutdown the engine to prevent damage. Most remote starts have either a tach wire or voltage sensing wire or a mode to select between the two.
Brother-in-law bought a 2000 Excursion for his wife with the V10. She buys two tanks a week for that beast.

The wait to start on 2004 up Diesel F250's is a data signal only wire for the light in the dash.
Most every discussion I found is to use the delay timer built into the remote start instead of trying to wire it to the wait to start light, that's why I keep getting a N/A for the wait to start wire on the newer Ford diesels.

Found the door lock wiring is in the drivers kick panel using a negative trigger signal from the remote start should be a simple one wire connection for both lock and unlock.

The 250's factory remote will/may not open the doors with the ignition on. Now that would involve cutting the ignition power to the factory alarm/door lock module, not reccomended.
Most vehicles don't have a "factory alarm" just lock/unlock due to the transponder PATS security keys used now. The lock/unlock feature will be on the new remote starter key fob. I'll look for a diagram of the door locks for the '08 f250 for ya.

Say you already have digital bypass module for the F250?

They may be trying to sell you old stock on one of those "key in the box" modules.

Check the compatibility of the XpressKit you have.
      XpressKit says a XK04 or PKFM will work on a 2008 F250.

Glad you got the Stang figured out, I've seen that "look" a thousand times when you can make someone's car start without the key. :peace:
