i couldnt find any LT headers so thats why i went w/ these. i didnt notice any HP gains, but the low-end torque was noticed right away. had trouble chirpin my 35's w/ my stock 3.55 RP, but after the swap, I was barkin all day! LT is the way to go, but I like my shortys' and have no regrets. Plus, if I go to a turbo setup in the next year like i hope, LT's would be a pain in the ass to work w/, where as these shortys can 180^ right back into the engine bay.

ya a 4in thats in there now and a 5in block that came with the kit.

I have a block..its a 4in, with a shackle and aal...so i guess i didnt get out a complete 4 more in out of them.. so ill let it all settle...and if it still sits lower ill add the 5in block

whats up brother! start splittin your time between forums better :waytogo: lol. as for the headers, i got a pair of Gibson High Flow Chrome. I felt the extra torque from increased flow right away. And nothing like seein chrome turn blue after a few thousand miles. I highly recommend them. But a warning: The passenger side is a ***** to get in. Remove starter, loosen driver mount 1/2 turn, and passenger mount enough to lift the engine almost 2". Then good luck gettin that tricky 3rd bolt back in the starter. hahaha. But well worth it still!

ya I hear ya. i might need the blocks. the rear sits a lil more than an inch lower than the front. ill have to wait till it all settles then decide. but a lil cali lean and im ok with it.

Hey I don't have a tracking number since she shipped it from her work, but it will probably be there by at least Wed. I would assume. I'm not exactly sure though so don't take my word on it... but I would think it would be there by at least next Friday.
