maybe i did it after the lift? hell i cant remember, that was over 4 years ago! LOL

yeah, that idea should work. i would just worry about it bouncing around unless you mount the sensor or something.

alright. i just read a post on another forum where a guy used a T and a 1/8 nipple and mounted the eletric sender unit somewhere else and ran a copper line from the T to the electric sender. i may have to do this.

i cant even fit the original sender unit on the T with how it is now lol. i dont have nearly as much room as you do for some reason.

yea idk how you got youre camera in there lol i just dont have enough room to put the sender in. i need like an inch, inch and a half more room to fit the sender in. is there another port i could put it on? i can get a 45 degree elbow but i would have to order the SOB.

alright i tried to give it a shot but there isnt enough room to do it like you did for some reason. once i put the t into the port with the closed nipple adapter its already so close to the front differential that i cant put the sender on. i dont even know how you got that shot of your filter and oil pressure sender. ive got that plastic drip thing for the oil filter and the front diff is in the way. i might be able to get it to work if i can find a 45 degree elbow and use another 1/4 adapter and then put the sender on. ill try to get some pictures.

alright i just went to homedepot and got a black steel T and closed pipe nipple. hopefully this works without the need for any elbows. if thats the case im going to let the truck cool and give it another shot. the biggest task is getting than damn sensor off. i dont have a wrench big enough so i gotta stick a stupid cresent wrench in there. i think i need a 1" wrench. 3/4 isnt big enough.

alright. im going to head to homedepot and look. all lowes had were small fittings. i cant install the sender unit till my next oil change now lol unless its just like the transmission test port where hardly anything comes out...got a clue?

I tries using a 1/4" t, 1/4" male to male adapter and the only kind of elbow I could find was what they called a street elbow. It looks like you used a much bigger t then what I have.

hey josh do you remember at all what size fittings you used for the oil pressure gauge? i just spent like 3 hours getting the factory sender unit out and i tried a million different combinations of fittings and i cant get it right lol
