Yup, that truck had coils, egr valve and some emission sensor replaced in it too. I don't remember the name of that sensor.

Bama, I've never heard a valve chatter from my truck and it has almost 199k on it. Yours must be a Monday or Friday built motor...hahaha

I use either motorcraft or Mobil 1 synthetic and always a motorcraft filter.
Im pretty sure that your alt is directly under the air intake hose. It's center of the motor

The squealing could be the alt and the problems your experiencing.
