Driveshaft question

    I'm getting a automatic C6 trany out of a 70's van. I was wondering if the driveshaft out of the van will work on my when converting from column to automatic?

    Also when did vans go from ignition switch on dash to the column?

    What about the power steering column?

    Ok found out since I'm using the trany out the van that driveshaft will work also.
