Ok this is really getting on my nerves. I'm getting a rattle when I start my truck. It doesn't happen every time, mostly cold starts. I start the truck, it rattles(like pouring rocks) for about 3-4 seconds then goes to normal. ?? Any ideas? only thing I got is maybe my cats are trashed but it doesn't have that rotten egg smell.

IMO that sounds like a dry start as if oil
    pressure isn't coming up immediately
    after cranking.

i did see something about it being an oil issue, anything to do to fix it?

What's your oil at and what weight do you run? 5w-30 quieted mine down a lot. Are you using any oil between changes?

Just recommended 5w20. I take it in to get it changed every 4000. Should I bump it up to 30?

I would try 30 and see if that helps. It can't hurt anything. If it doesn't make it better, switch back to 20 next time. You might need to replace your VCT solenoids...
