Hey I am looking into tires to get, just wanted to know if anybody had anything to say about the General Grabbers.
They are a great tire from what I've read and Bojangles and others have them. They are pricey so for the money I'd prolly go a different route but that's all up to you and what you want. Btw make a intro thread
From all the personal reviews and the ones from articles I've read online, they seem to be a killer ass tire.
theyre great but in snow and wet conditions they suck. but off road they do really well and perform best in sand.
The A/T2's are good tires. You get what you pay for them.Like stated in a previous post. They do suck in the rain.Snow,slush,great.Mud very good.Deep soupy mud, great as well.Nice grip on dry road.Just as nice breakaway from a dead stop on dry road. Anymore questions, let me know. Did West or Ricky get ya here.Seems to be Tennessee central here.lol. Guess West don't want his name on posts anymore.
Ahh the Red letters. Here ya go. Sand, awesome. Dry traction is also good Mud/deep watery mud,not so good.Friend got stuck twice to where i had to pull him out.Not real good self cleaners Wet traction,(Rain)eh OK. Snow/slushy conditions.Horrible. Oh and the red lettering does rub off.Buddy has had his 5 months.Starting to fade already Now with those,If your mainly a street driven truck. You will get your money's worth. Now if you mud allot like i do.Tires are not worth it and could find something better for the price of those.
I just put them on my truck. Great in sand, gravel, pavement. Just like Backwoods said. He knows his stuff about tires. I like them, though probablly wouldn't get them again because of how terrible they are in wet sand and mud. Pretty quiet on the road. Heres my thread on them, and check my album for more pictures. http://www.fordfullsize.com/forum/f51/my-new-tires-3113/
