Help!

    I was driving home today and turning onto a street when I lost oil pressure and the steering locked up. SES light came on. I was able to shut my truck off and start it back up. Light was off and I was able to drive. I'm gonna get the code checked tomorrow. In the meantime, do any of you have any idea of what could cause this?

    maybe the oil sensor, but i dont see how that would make your steering lock up??

    did your truck shut off?

    Basically. I had to coast to a stop light and then I shut my truck off. No power

    weird, have you checked your battery connections?

    I'll check em again. I just cleaned some corrosion off of the terminals a week ago

    check the grounds too.

    Belt would explain the steering but not the oil pressure.. honestly I don't know what could cause both of those..
