    I got a set of procomp rims for my dad last fall that were painted black and now he wants them chrome...

    what would be the best way to strip the paint without damaging the aluminium?

    this might be dumb but would paint remover do anything? or sandblasting?

    That aircraft paint remover like Fig used will work just fine.
