Kinda over the tinted tails look. I mean, it looks real good but it seems like every truck has them nowadays so I got an idea in my head today. What if I took some cheap ebay tails like this:

and opened em up, ptm the chrome, tint the red so there is still a stormtrooper theme and seal em back up?
    Opinions?

Here's a most recent pic for reference too:

If you think the tails would look good, should I do the heads and corners too?

Thanks for the input guys. I'm gonna order the tails and some new corners as soon as I get my paycheck and then whenever I get a free weekend I'll tackle the project. Plus if I don't like em, I still got the stockers and I'd be out only about $60

You can get some that aren't chrome too, so you'll only have to do the red. It will look good though. I've been thinking about doing the same thing to mine

Ya it'll be the same amount of work either way with painting them to match if the insides are black or chrome so whichever is cheapest I'll get
