New to the forum and new to my 06 F150 5.4L

I am looking at tuners for fuel saving I drive about 3 hrs high way on the weekend and am looking for a couple more mpg I have a tonnue cover and a k and n intake (came with the truck) I have been looking at tunners and have found some good stuff about edge and found superchips isn't cai friendly. Any more input would be great and has anyone tried the bulldog tuner? Also other recommendations?

I would first find out if your have an early or late build 06. The 04-05 trucks run lean with a chip and make bad things happen.

I would suggest an Edge chip first on level 2. A high flow air filter like K&N or AFE will also help a bit. A full on CAI doesn't do much until you start adding exhaust and some other work.

I don't think it's a full on cai it is still in the engine bay with a heat shield

Will look on the door jam though and see the build date
