leveling and body lifts reducing towing

I've heard of them reducing you're towing capacity. Is this true??? If so by how much??? I'm wondering on each.

 

never heard this and do see how either could affect that

 

me neither , only thing is the bumper brackets with the body lift , but if u haul somethin that much just dont move the back bumper and put a peice of metal in the gap

 

Yeah I've heard a large handful of people say this and I have asked them how much and why and they disappear from the thread LOL and I've got a hitch so I'm not worried about towing with my bumper

 

so then , u wud have nothin to worry about

Body lifts,nor do leveling kits have no effect on your towing whatsoever.Like Big said just keep your back bumper in it's stock location.Hide the gap.Yes this is also from personal experience on the towing with a leveling kit,as well as wth a body kid.
