Ok I was playing in a little mud and when I come out I noticed the truck was acting weird. So I stop and put it in neutral and rev it and ooooo my a misfire. And I let it idle in drive and I hear the same thing I heard before I changed my wires last time ...... A spark knock ( wire isn't on the plug good) So does any one know if very bumpy ground will pull a plug wire off? I looked under the hood and no water under there and like I said it sounds like the wires. I'm really getting tired of misfires I'll try pushing it back on in the morning but if it doesn't go idk what to do I just got new wires a month or 2 ago
they are brand new I cant afford them I gots a date friday Im hoping that i can push it back on or something but if not ill reuse one of my old ones
is it possible for the spark plug to be pushing off the wire? the number 7 plug wire keeps coming off idk why though its pissing me off I took one wire off of it today and put an old one on it and it still came off so I took some pliers and crimped it some so it will stay on. It did good for a few hours and I took my brother to the store and it started misfiring again. So i am thinking another set of $107 wires but instead of autolite I'll get Accel (they are blue so they will match lol). But if the new wires dont work wtf do I do then? It will be either the 5th or 6th till I get the wires so I'm stuck driving a chebby suburban
I just buy the Duralast wires from VatoZone. They have a lifetime warranty and only cost about $45-$50.
They're not the best, but I usually get about 2-3 years out of em and end up just returning them for another set. I accidentally let one lay on the manifold and burn up about 7 months ago and the lifetime warranty saved me from spending the cash for a new set of wires.
I might get the duralast ones if autozone wont let me call in and tell them to order some accel ones cause i dont wanna waste money on gas to go there 2 times and ill be driving a 5.7 and its a gas hog
Idk about in your area but at the advance I work at we keep accel wires in stock for more common vehicles like the 97-03 f150's Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
